E
mily Allongo Photography has been capturing
priceless memories since 2009. Emily has
had a passion for photography her entire life,
but that passion turned into business when a friend
asked Emily to take photographs of her daughter while
she was riding her horse. Emily grew up in Wellington,
Florida but didn’t begin riding until her senior year of
high school. The following year, as a freshman at
the University of Miami, Emily joined the University
of Miami IHSA Team and, everywhere she went, she
took pictures of her teammates and barn mates.
While completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Music with a Psychology minor, Emily took several
photography, digital editing and design classes to
hone her talents.  Since graduation, Emily has been
hired as a personal photographer for several Winter
Equestrian Festival patrons and has submitted photos
to equine magazines around the country.  Her passion
is capturing both candids of ponies and kids and hunter/
jumper action shots.  In January, Emily will marry
Jonathan Tobin, an attorney in Miami, who can often
be found ringside helping her take beautiful photos.

Emily describes her photos:
1. Lighting Du Beaufor posing between bites of grass. I used
to lease this horse so I have a few wonderful pictures of him.
2. Lauren Schrager and Urlando celebrating a great round
during a Florida rain storm.
3. My puppy Belle meeting her frst horse. Rivera was more
afraid of the little ball of fuffy in my trainer’s jacket then any
jumping course.
4. Connor Crotty and Peace by Piece

gracefully jump the last
oxer of their course.
5. Aalsmeer Ambush celebrating his WEF wins and qualifying
for Pony Finals.
6. Rafael and Lilly Hymowitz during the pony model.
7. Zayna Rizvi and Hillcrest’s Country Lady getting some pats
before the pony jog.
8. One of my favorite pictures is of Grand Rivera and my
trainer Karen Flynn-Ferrera from Tally Ho Farm in Miami,
Florida. They were sitting under the International Ring bridge
in Wellington waiting for their turn during a hunter classic
under the lights.
