Kayden (left) and Klendy Muller

Names: Kayden andKlendy Muller
Hometown: Wellington, Florida
Ages: Kayden is 7;Klendy is12
Ponies: Kayden: Peter Pan, my Shetland pony; and in Michigan, Cinnamon. Klendy: Misty May and Show Off
Trainers: (for both girls): My mom has always taught us, but she does dressage, so before every equitation show, our other trainer Kathy LaCroix would teach us what to do in the show.
Of all the ponies you have ridden, which is your favorite? Kayden: Peter Pan is my favorite because he is really funny and a little naughty.
Klendy: Show Off for sure; she is the sweetest pony in the world, very patient, but she does not like to be pulled in the mouth and she will let you know.
What pony would you like to ride? Kayden: I would like to ride one of my mom’s horses Anny, she is 18 hands tall. I did a leadline on her in Michigan and won. I like to ride her by myself, but am not allowed to yet. Klendy: I would like to have a real German FEI Dressage Pony. My pony Show Off is a great jumper but does not know a lot about dressage, but she is trying.
What is your favorite horse show? Kayden: This summer we went to the Shetland Pony Championships and that was really really fun. Klendy: the Grand Prix Freestyles in Dressage during the Wellington Equestrian Festival
What was the high point in your riding career? Kayden: When I became Year End Champion in Leadline last year at the Palm Beach Horseman’s Show. Klendy: This summer when I was able to sit out all the bucking and being run off with by my sister’s pony; that definitely gave me a confidence booster.
What was your low point? Kayden: When I got a flying lesson from Peter Pan right into an ant pile. Klendy: When I fell off Show Off during one of my equitation classes in Wellington.
Who are your Equestrian Idols? Kayden: My mom because she is the best!! Klendy: Ashley Holzer: she is an amazing Olympic Dressage rider and also a really nice person, and of course my mom.
Other than riding, what do you do? Kayden: I like to do all sports but now I am trying out for the swim team; I do competition baton twirling, and like to start playing golf and of course I have to go to school. Klendy: I do hip hop dance and competition baton twirling.
What are your plans for the future? Kayden: I want to be a baton twirler forever, do cross country eventing and become president. Klendy: I would like to be able to ride a Grand Prix Freestyle one day and go to college to become a nurse or a veterinarian.
